It was quite unlike any Dead Dog Party I've been to before. Usually they are a much more relaxed and subdued affair with very tired people sitting around drinking the last of the Real Ale and chatting quietly in small groups, trying not to think about going back to work. The closest I can think of is Redemption '07 where a group of us flew paper planes and then wandered around doing odd things with cartoon speech bubbles, bears, and digital cameras.
The chandelier antics worried me too. Those huge pieces of glass were only held up with very fine wire, and at the end of the night people seemed to be deliberately aiming the balloons at them.
I think Brian was originally supposed to be in charge of the Walk but it quickly turned into a group effort.
Re: [3]. I think that was Nicola - I remember her saying, "OMG, how are we supposed to get through that?!"
