Quite right - but then, I doubt a graphic scene is on the cards at all. (That said, it would amuse me if she wrote a really steamy, revoltingly graphic scene involving Harry, Ginny, and the squid. Just to annoy people.)

Some mention of it, however, wouldn't be inappropriate - and would enhance the fiction that they're supposed to be real people. Particularly following the chestburster in the last book, I can't see how a reference, however tangential, can be avoided.
